I have written a few Haiku to welcome the beautiful rains. Each follow the 5-7-5 syllable rule.
The lightning announces,
Your punctual arrival,
I smile, I welcome
Sweet scent emanates,
As my tormented Earth is healed,
By your touch, your love
When I fly away soon,
To a land where you are banned,
My tears will replace you
All the above Haiku follow the theme of “Rain”. They depict a mix of joy and sorrow. I hope you enjoyed reading and were able to relate to them in your own way.
